"The Drops"

So there's this fun little cemented canal (fast flowing river) that is pretty fun to float down. We grew up going here with friends in high school and what not for FUN, when there was nothing else to do in the summer. Actually it's pretty gross if you think about it, it's irrigation water, so who knows where it's been, but anyways you jump in at the bridge and float down about a mile into some rapids and it opens up wide into cliffs on each side where you get out and drive back up and repeat! This year it was pretty high, usually you can slide your feet along the slimy bottom, but this year we couldn't touch, thus the lifejackets so we could be lazy!

So we took my family out there, and I thought I would be the designated driver, since being so "prego" and it's quite a rush jumping into the fast freezing water: but with the heat and all, it was too tempting and I jumped right in with the rest of em, and held Adi the whole way down!!

So Yes - Me the Huge Prego One- went down a couple of times even! Plus, we had two cars, so we'd leave one at the end and then we'd all jump in at the top and float down to the end where the other car was!

Adi was not so sure of the idea of jumping into fast freezing water!
I'll have to admit it's still kinda scary for me even to have Her go down! Mostly just the big rapids at the End!

it winds around and slowly drops down every little bit, so you get moving faster and faster til you hit a huge rapid!

They had barely jumped in when I took this picture and they were already out of sight!
Fun times though! Kinda like our own huge waterslide!
