Happy St. Patty's!

Yeah it's time for Green Eggs and Ham! Aldon could barely contain himself this year for dinner! We made Green pancakes, with Green scrambled eggs/cheese with ham in it. Also, I splurged and let him put green sugar crystals on his toast....it was so cute how excited he got, I couldn't resist.

We made green eggs and ham with toast for breakfast, and then green eggs & ham with Pancakes for dinner (Aldon's request for it again)! The only problem is, now he asks for green eggs and ham w/ sugar sprinkled toast every night!

Adi loved the green pancakes too! It's so cute to see her picking up little tiny pieces concentrating so hard! She did eat a whole pancake thought...took her a half hour, but hey... a whole pancake for her size (that's somethin), she couldn't get enough of it.

Mark was even sportin his Irsih shirt, and was so stinkin ahnry about me takin a picture of it, that he gave me this face!!! Now I see where our son gets it! hee hee

Happy Anniversary!!!

This last weekend was our 6 yr Anniversay, March 16th. I can't believe it's been 6 years, but at the same time it seems like it's been a lot longer than that, because I can hardly even remember my life before Mark, it seems like we've been together forever, and I wouldn't want it any other way. I am truly so lucky to have him, he's the sweetest and funnest person in my life that I truly love and adore and can't even come close to describing this wonderful relationship that we have! Mark always plans the anniversaries and this year we went up to Poky, dropped the kids with his parents, and we went out to eat at The Sandpiper ~ which was delicious, I had the almond encrusted Halibut filet in a cream sauce w/baked potato, and he had the Steak and Baby back ribs.....which he will say ~ mine was better! His ribs were not very tender kinda chewy, but still good none the less. And then he booked the Enchanted Forest Room for us at the Black Swan Inn. It really is a neat themed suite. Trees all over the room with the whole ceiling full of leaves, and waterfalls on the walls that flow into the hot tub. It was pretty cool. And then we.......yada yada yada (for those Sienfield fans) no j/k after we checked in we went shopping!...Yes Mark actually went shopping with me, he usually only lasts 10 minutes and then is off to the sports store in the mall while I do the shopping. So all in all we had a great weekend , and the funniest part of all started off the great weekend.....the picture below explains everything bout Idaho rednecks

Okay so to explain this last photo! Ha ha ha, I bust up laughing just looking at it. While we were driving to Poky we noticed this blob up in front of us on the freeway and we were trying to figure out what in the world had a larger top than the vehicle below it (it kinda looked like a tractor with a tarp from far) ...then as we got closer.....we started bustin up laughin.....no way... For Real....we saw this piece of work in front of us..... "Only in Idaho!"

too funny! How fun to get away for your anniversary. What a festive mom! I know I'll do all that stuff when my kids are old enough to enjoy it. I should have tried it this year, but I could just see them not touching it because it looks weird. Next year will the year! We may take the kids swimming tonight, I'll call you! Jana

I had to make Tommy's ham separately...he wouldn't touch the green stuff! I will have to do the green pancakes next year too. BTW I left a comment about the Twilight series on my blog...should have left in on yours but I didn't and I am not going to type it again!
