Grampa Henderson's (Mark's Grandpa) 80th Birthday Surprise BBQ with all the extended family/Reunion. It's the first reunion on that side in 20 some years!
Little kids had fun with the Bubble Blowing Machine!
Carston with his black & blue eye - really it's just his sticky sucker!
The Dinosaur Museum
They had a sand and water Dinosaur Island table that the kids loved playing in.... we spent an hour just at this part!
Carston loved to splash in the water!
Adi not so much, with the splashing!
She loved playing there and sliding under the bridge on the ramp.
Cousin Baden with Aldon...these two were having a great time together!
Memorial Day -
Visiting family graves
Visiting family graves
Mark, his dad-Leonard, and Adilynn: cleaning Mark's older sister (Melinda's) grave. She was born still-birth and was to be the oldest in Marks family. Sharon (Mark's mom) is a very strong woman, and I can't imagine losing your first child at birth. Melinda's grave is placed with other children from the hospital that died at birth or only lived a day/week or so. It was a tender moment to hear Leonard talk so sweetly of his wife and how hard it was on her to loose her first child while working in a baby doll dress shop making little baby girl dresses, and not being able to bring one home for her new daughter. It really brought tears to my eyes, (yes, I'm pregnant so the tears really flowed) as he talked about how neat it will be to know her and be as a whole family in heaven. It made me think about our own children that we've lost and if they are in heaven waiting for us. Adi came and hugged me with her head on my preg. belly and said " Mommy okay?" as if she knew my heartache. So tender and sweet.
These three- So Sweet!
A beautiful day spent with Mark's family,
and to learn of the history of his sister.
The Petting Zoo - Farm
And they're off......
Aldon rode a Big HORSE all by himself for the first time, and loved it. Adi rode on the Pony behind him and was smiling the entire time!
Baden, Aldon, Kenason, Adi, and Carston all looking in the cage at the huge peacock!
The kids had such a great time at all the activities: feeding ducks, chickens, cow licking corn off Adi's hand, Riding the horses and pony, Adi even has her hand in the air on the pony, Ride 'em Cowgirl, milked a cow, saw the peacock raise it's feathers, and saw the 2 brand new baby horses born that very morning!
After being down there all weekend and then some... we really are contemplating moving there... so much to do and see, and so many things for little kids and families. Only problem is, we would have to find 3 to 4 jobs down there, in order to give up the 3-4 jobs he has here! Minor details....right?!

Hey, what type of bird is the all white one? It is so awesome!
It was a White female Peacock, it was in with the other peacocks. I have never seen an all white one before, so I thought this one was so pretty! Did you guys see it when you were at the Farm down there the weekend before?
That is what I was thinking it was. We asked mom even cause we didn't know. haha. It was really cool at the Field of Heroes. We didn't even get pictures of the whole field!! It was pretty amazing.
