So I don't have a fun picture or anything, since my parents flew home about 1 in the morning Sat. night, so I didn't hear the news until Sunday morning "Mother's Day"... but it was great!
My mom called me first thing Sunday morn and started crying first thing when she saw the new room- she said.
She went and got my dad and wouldn't let him unload the suitcases or anything until he came and saw the house. ( I had also cleaned and vacuumed the rest of the house - since I had moved shelves and cabinets and toys from other rooms)
Our whole family brought and made dinner for Mother's Day to her house and all the grandkids got to enjoy the new Playroom! It was so cute as I could hear Aldon yelling "come check out this new Awesomest Playroom ever! " to his cousins, and then Dalton came upstairs and thanked me for making him a playroom to play with Aldon in. It was so cute!
Made it All worth it!
My sweet husband and Aldon brought me flowers home Sat night, and Sunday morning did all the dishes and cleaned the kitchen up and made my favorite breakfast: an extravagant Cinnamon French Toast breakfast with eggs, bacon, and strawberries and whipcream!! So yes I did get very pampered after my long week of hard work for my mom!

p.s. THE ANSWER: to How many staples I pulled out of the walls and ceiling from my brothers putting up posters in there when they were little:
173 Staples!
Yup I counted them all, cuz after I had pulled out about 60 from one wall and still had a lot to go, I figured I'd count em and quiz my family, so Mark was closest with a guess of 180 and then my mom was second, Katie originally guessed 50 and quickly changed it to 150 as I told her much higher!!
I'm just glad it's done!

Hi Jay-
We were thinking about coming out for gpa's b-day next weekend, but we haven't decided for sure because I haven't really been feeling up to it and I don't know if I want to put Sara on a plane right now (swine flu- yikes) and she has quite a few dr.'s appointments coming up. We will for sure be coming on June 23rd- and blessing Sara July 4th weekend at my parents.
Your post reminds of cleaning my mom's craft room for her- my favorite past time ha ha. Anyway, great gift idea!
