Temple & Sardines

Hawaii Laie Temple

We started off Sat. morning with a session at the temple. It was so beautiful and neat inside, although it was very small and old-fashioned, which is why it was a good thing we saw the inside when we did, because we learned that this temple is going to be closed for 2 yrs for remodeling renovation.

All of us in front of the temple: Rachelle & Jackson, Mark & I, Devon & Jesse

(looking back to the road from the temple)
Palm trees line the long road up to the temple with 3 waterfalls & beautiful landscaping, with the temple high above it all at the top of the hill, it is a site to see!

SARDINES
We then spent the rest of the day playing sardines on the beach. You have to lay like sardines as the waves come and crash on ya and drag you into the ocean, the last one still on the beach without breaking form wins!

We had fun just acting like little kids again (video below)

No Mark is not bottomless, (wearing swim boxers underneath), but he is holding up his swimshorts to empty out all of the sand in his pockets from our sardine game, they were completely full!
We went to Pizza Bob's afterwards, Yummy!
