It was my birthday on Wed. Feb 20th! I am to the point where I think I am going to start counting backwards at my birthdays, this getting older thing is not for me! I am on the brink of 30, and to me thirty always seemed soooo old, so there is no way that could be me turning 29. To explain the title..... My brother has coined the phrase "Happy Birth Week", since in my family growing up, we always had a night we'd go out to eat a birthday dinner with the family and then go back home to have cake and icecream and open presents, and then we'd all get together on the Sunday previous and Mom would always cook a special sunday dinner made of anything you requested, and then of course you'd have a friend party as well. So basically it seemed you got to party all week long! So it was my Happy Birth Week!
My sweet husband made me breakfast in bed on my birthday, and then my girlfriends took me out to lunch at the Garden Cafe, and then I went shopping with another friend to use my Old Navy birthday coupon, and then that evening went out to eat at Prasai's Thai for dinner with the whole family....yummm my favorite. So I had a pretty terrific birthday!!! Despite the whole turning another year older and closer to the dreaded thirty thing, it was a really fun day and I loved it! I am so lucky to have such awesome friends and family! Aldon helped me blow out the candles, and just as Mark went to take the other picture of the cake the 2 fell down, so I'll take that I am just turning 9! Of course if you look another way it looks like it could be 59 ahhhhhhh.... now that's scary! Then to top off the night Adi kept saying "Mom,mom,mom..." (in the video below) so cute and melted my heart! She's always said mama, in fact that was her first word, but never over and over like that...so cute!

What a terrible friend I am! I remembered like two days after that it was your birthday!! But how nice of you guys to save me a spot at lunch! Looks like fun! Man...we are getting old though. Yummy cake!
