10 years ago I was: 19 and going to school at Ricks College (which is what it was called way back when ~ now it's BYU-I)! I was just getting ready to go on a British Literary Tour (study abroad in April) thru the school ~ to Ireland, Scotland, England, Belgium, & France. It was an awesome month! I went to Ricks for 2 years received my Associates and moved to ISU. It was a good move, I liked Ricks, ( dances, socials, dates, meat market) but felt it was like a large high school with all the drama doubled! ISU ~ a university was much more living on my own with a couple different awesome roommates that are now friends for life, & was attending Dental Hygiene school.
5 places I've lived are: Twin Falls, Rexburg (2 yrs), Pocatello (2 yrs), Other house in Pocatello, & Twin Falls again! I know, I swore when I was younger I'd never end up here, but as I got older and moved away I realized I really loved the weather the changing of the seasons, all the outdoor activities Twin had to offer and it was small enough to raise a good family. We've moved several times on top of those, just in the same city, different houses.
5 things on my list to do today: I actually have a pretty good list today. I have Visiting Teaching this morning, then walking with Aldon and Alexa(neighbor girl, aldon's age) around the block on their powered jeeps and collecting rocks for Achievement Days at my house today(we are painting Prayer Rocks) , then making brownies for "Act. Days" before going to Aldon's swimming lessons, and immediately after coming back to our house to have Act. Days with about 15 girls ages 8-11. Then dinner, then relax and watch (tivo recorded) Biggest Loser with my hubby Mark. We love that show and it's getting dramatic now it's getting down to the last of em, at least it motivates me to work out (tommorrow of course)!
Jobs I've had: Pea Picker, Dental Secretary/Sterilizer, Fitness Center front desk, Dental Assistant, Dental Hygienist, and of course most important one is Mother!
5 snacks I enjoy: Wheat thins with Martins Cheeseball, String Cheese, yogurt cup, brownies, & best of all Reese's Peanut Butter Cups! Yummmmm
What would I do if I were suddenly made a billionaire: Hmm, invest all of it and pay tithing on it of course and then live off of the interest. I would build an awesome sweet house with a gym and a hot tub with a waterfall spilling into a full size pool with a built in outdoor grill kitchen, since we like to do a lot of outdoor entertaining. Probably go on a couple cruises. Give huge donations to some good charities through the church. Secure my siblings especially the poor ones ;) with some sweet houses as well ~ luv ya sis (don't worry, yes I know what it's like to not have anything and be using a plastic crate as a hamper and boxes as trash cans, and having Mac n' Cheese or Ramen at least 3 times a week.)
5 things you don't know about me: 1) Never had a pedicure (please...I'm too cheap for that), 2)I've never broke a bone in my body, 3)When I brush my teeth I aim my spit at the hair in the sink to wash it down ~I have a pet-peeve of hair in the sink, 4)I played the Cello in grade school, 5)Would hit a cat with my car if I had the chance ~ When I was in college Doctors thought I had Cancer in my collar bone and told me it was probably malignant(fatal). Thought I was going to die, the whole life thingy flashy before my eyes! (turned out to be from a cat scratch disease! all that worry from a stupid cat!!!)
10 years from now.... we'll hopefully have about 4 kids and be crazy busy with all of their sports and activities...( I love being a soccer mom ~ and Aldon's only in the little league soccer teams!). Hopefully Mark will be happy with his job/jobs and I hope we are more settled into our 5+ business ventures we own and instead have other people managing them by that time, so we can play more and stress less. (By the way we added a new business to the pile about two weeks ago ~Snake River Rubber Mulch. We are now distibutors of rubber bark for landscapes and playgrounds etc. I hope we are as happy as a family as we are now. I hope to be a terrific mom to my kids and have lots of time to do fun crazy adventures with them, like spontaneously pull them out of school when there is lots of snow for a Ski Day!! And last but not least I hope that all of our kids are strong in the Gospel and we all have strong testimonies of our own.

Who folds the laundry: Neither, I lay it out flat on the bed in certain piles and we both hang up our own. His socks get tossed in the drawer unmatched, and sometimes I match mine up.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed: When you're looking at it he does, when you're laying on it I do
Who pays the bills: I do with a click of a button online, gotta love that bill pay
Who cooks dinner: I do, but he can whip up a mean Portuguese dish!
Who drives when you're together: He does, that way if something happens he's responsible
Who is more stubborn: He is, but I have my moments too
Who proposed: Mark, and you could say it was a high flying experience!
Who has more friends: Umm, depends He does more from high school, I do more from since we've been married.
Who wears the pants in the family: Uhh, I think I do, but I always rely on his decision ~ So, Let's just say my bootie doesn't look as good as his in a pair of jeans....owww!!! Yes, he's my hunk of burnin love!

So fun to read! Sorry it was a pain to format, but I really enjoyed it. I love finding out more about people through their blogs.
wow, that was hilarious! The cat episode had me rolling. Scary to think that you actually thought you were going to die. I can see why you really hate cats now!
The hockey tickets were sold out, of course. Well, there were some left but it would cost us about
$50. No thanks. I think we're going to go up and go to the temple and dinner and hang out so we'll have to do something. Maybe meet for dessert after the game or something! Well, you kids will be tired by then. Oh well we'll figure something out. Thanks for checking for me with your sister though. See you tomorrow morning! Jana
Very fun to read, I actually laughed about the cat thing (sorry)! However, I would prefer not to see my brothers named attached to horny ever again, thank you very much!
very fun. Fun to learn more about you :) ....is that me you tagged? or do you know another Nicole Ward??
