Our baby is Here!

Aisley Lynn was born Saturday Oct. 17th 2009 at 9:33am. She is exactly 7lbs, 20in, and has dark brown fuzzy hair! (I know...one of our kids actually born with hair?!)
She is so mellow and chill, hardly cries, and is absolutely a perfect baby girl!

For my Journaling purposes: (skip if you want)

I was having braxton hicks contractions all Friday evening-16th- and then around 10pm they started getting stronger and 8 minutes apart. They progressed all night and I would pace the house hoping that they would get closer....( I had been having BH contractions for the last 2 weeks every single night- I wanted to make sure this was the real thing) ... so then around 3am I was so exhausted I fell asleep and at 4am the contractions woke me back up & super painful now being 4 minutes apart! This HAD to be IT!! So we packed up our bags and carseat and went to the hospital at 5am. I was dilated to a 5 and so they hooked me all up to machines, called my doctor (Dr. Coleman is my doctor from the group and he was out of town, Dr. Smith was on call... :) yeah! didn't want a doc I didn't know from the group). Was able to get the epidural and Aisley was born at 9:33am no complications although the cord was around her neck, but was loose so it didn't cause any problems. It was my first birth that I was able to have the epidural work and was able to be alert & see everything since it was fairly calm which made it a magical spiritual experience. So glad she is here safe and sound!

Look at that hair...yes it's only a little....but it's hair!

So tiny!
We only had to stay at the hospital all day yesterday & overnight,
then came home today at noon!

Glad to be HOME!
Aldon and Adilynn meeting their new baby sister- Aisley!

They do not allow any children for visitors under age 18 at hospitals right now, due to the spread of Swine Flu and another strain of Flu going around right now, and the high sickness rate currently increasing around the country. So our kids were very excited to see us when we finally came home!

We love you - Aisley!
