So we have been making a little progress with Adi starting to potty train. She loves wearing Dora pull-ups and can pull em on and off all by herself. She has gone a handful of times on her little potty chair!! Well, so about a week ago at night she woke up crying after we had put her to bed, and we went into her room to find her completely naked and peed the bed. So we had to wash her up, change the sheets and re-dress her, all while she is crying from being woke up! So about an hour later that same night we go in to check on her and to the same scene! Changed everything again! Yuck! We told her over and over again, don't take off your jammies, don't take off your diaper, it's yucky! She responds with"Okay" everytime and "sorry". Well this kept happening for several nights in a row, she would pitch her jammies and diaper right onto the floor and she'd be all wrapped up in a blanket naked! This started to get really old at 1:00 in the morning! So lately at night for the last 2 weeks we have tried several ideas: taping her diaper sides...(still got it off), taping all the way around the diaper (still slid it down her legs), taping her zipper on her jammies (the picture above) and she still got that off! She would simply peel the ducktape down the zipper! So we finally had to tape down the zipper and all the way around her! She finally was not able to get the tape off by herself and we actually were extatic to go in that night and find her fully clothed! It's kinda funny too, cuz she loves the duct-tape...she calls it her sticker! So now she asks for her special sticker on her jammies( the duct-tape)!
The zipper method....didn't work
The tape over button-up jammies.... didn't work

I haven't laughed so hard in a LONG time! I never would have thought to use duct tape! Oh my gosh! That is hilarious! I hated potty training Jameson. I'm no help at all in this area. I'm so excited to hear the news of this new baby's arrival. I bet you are too! hee hee. We really do need to get together again. I'm sure Aldon and Jameson would have so much fun together! Until then, best of luck with the count down to #3! Two girls in a row is so darn fun!
